KENNEWICK, WA - The holiday season is a time for giving and local businesses are not excluded.
All day Saturday employees from Warner Auto were outside on Columbia Drive collecting for charities. They stood out in the cold waiting for people to stop by with Toys for Tots and food for 2nd Harvest. After 18 years of doing business in the Tri-Cities, they say they are a little business with big hearts.
"It makes us feel very good to know that kids will have presents on Christmas morning and food in their tummies," said Heather Haize who works in sales and is an event coordinator.
The group worked to fill a car with food and a truck with toys, but the work is not done just yet. They will have collection bins at their location on Columbia Drive until the 22nd of December to give people a chance to bring by more food and toys.
