Vehicle Prowl/1200 blk W 10th- Complainant reported that sometime during the night
an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle, rummaged through the contents and
stole his passport. No leads or suspects.
Vehicle Prowl/200 blk E Albany Ave- Upon arriving at work this morning an employee
noted that one of their customers vehicles had been rummaged through and some of its
contents were on the ground next to it. The customer was not available for contact at
the time of the report and it is not known what if anything is missing. No leads or
Suspicious Person/2500 blk W 4th- Officers responded for a reported suspicious male on
the north side of the school who appeared to be gesturing towards children. On arrival
Officers located a male matching the description in the area described. Upon seeing  5
Officers, the subject left the area, walking toward the area of 1st and Anderson. While
checking that area, Officers located a male I the 100 blk S Anderson a vacant residence.
He advised he is transient in the area and denied making any gestures to the children on
the school grounds. He stated he was only in the area to clean up some garbage in the
back yard of a residence on S Anderson the front door of which was open. He also
denied being inside the residence but stated he has flopped there in the past. He was
issued a trespass notice and released. Attempts were made to contact the property
management company that has postings on the residence, however no contact was
Suicidal/700 blk- - S Buntin St-
Complainant reported that his girlfriend was attempting
to kill herself by cutting her wrists with a razor blade. She was contacted and found to
have minor cuts to her wrist. When asked what was going on, she who was highly
intoxicated made claims against her boyfriend. A D&T was issued and she was placed at
Detox. She states she is afraid of her boyfriend and will be contacted tomorrow once
she is sober for, a follow up interview regarding her statements.
Warrant Service/2700 blk S Quillan St-
Store security detained a male for shoplifting. A
records check showed that he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. He was
arrested and booked at Franklin County.
Assault/1100 blk W 10th Ave-
Officers Kuehny and Valdez responded to this complex for
a report of a disturbance in progress. Security reported that two intoxicated males were
in the parking lot threatening to assault him. Officers arrived on scene and made
contact with three males. Immediately one of them charged at Officer Kuehny but he
was restrained by one of the other males. He charged again and Officer Valdez took him
to the ground. The third male then charged at Officer Kuehny and began fighting with
him. He was taken to the ground where he continued to physically fight with officers.
He kicked and attempted to punch officers. He continued to fight and a taser was
deployed. After he was taken into custody, the male told Officer Kuehny several times
that once he was out he would kill him. He was arrested and booked into juvenile for
assault 3rd, felony threats, MIP, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The first male
was arrested and booked for assault 4th, resisting arrest, obstructing and MIP. Third
male was arrested and booked for obstructing as he interfered with officers as they
were fighting with the second male. No officers were injured in the incident.
Warrant Service/4600 blk W Clearwater Ave- Store security detained a male for
shoplifting. A records check showed that he had an outstanding warrant. He was
arrested and booked without incident.
Theft/4600 blk W John Day Ave-
A cab driver reported he stopped by his residence to
pick up some paperwork. When he returned approximately five minutes later he 
discovered an unknown suspect had stolen a GPS and the ignition key from his cab. No
suspect information.
Theft/2700 blk S Quillan St- Store security detained two females for shoplifting $92.06
worth of merchandise. One provided false information and was booked for theft and
false reporting. The other female was cited and released.
Theft/6600 blk W Canal Dr-
Security observed a male remove a SOG knife from its
packaging and conceal it on his person. He then attempted to leave the store without
paying. He was detained and found to be in possession of a Gerber knife he had
shoplifted the previous day. He was cited for two counts of theft and booked on four
outstanding warrants.
