KENNEWICK, WA - Local celebrity and Tri-City Americans superfan, Jimmy Butcher, can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that he's getting a new septic system.

The 46-year-old Kennewick man has been showering at a local fitness club for the past six months, after the septic system at his home broke.

When Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg heard about Jimmy's situation, he reached out to owners at Windermere Tri-Cities and Ray Poland & Son. They decided to foot the bill and install the new system.

They all met Tuesday morning to celebrate Jimmy's birthday.

"He's just a good community member to have in the Tri-Cities--he cares about other people--and it's nice to have this come back to him," said Hohenberg about Butcher.

"When I first found out about it, it was like a big weight being lifted off my shoulders...a big weight off my shoulders," said Butcher, holding back tears.

When Jimmy is not singing the national anthem at an Ams game, you can often catch him volunteering at local elementary schools or bagging groceries at Albertson's
