KENNEWICK, WA - A Pendleton man faces burglary charges after Kennewick Police say he broke into the JCPenney at the Columbia Center Mall.

Officers responded to the mall for an alarm just after 2:00 Wednesday morning. Officers say they found 65-year-old Douglas Harper hiding in the building, wearing stolen clothes from JCPenney.

Police say they used a Kennewick K9 unit to sweep the mall for other suspects but did not find any.

Officers arrested and booked Harper into the Benton County Jail for 2nd degree burglary.

Police say Harper also had a felony warrant out of Oregon.
