D-Shift
 
Malicious Mischief/00 blk N Newport-
Complainant advised unknown suspect spray
painted his truck last night. No suspect info at this time.
 
Assault DV & Possession of Heroin/4100 blk S Olympia St- Officers Pitts and Meyer
responded to an assault in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined a 20 year old male
assaulted a 521 year old male. The 20 year old also appeared to be under the influence
of a depressant. Sitting on the nightstand next to where he was contacted officers found
a loaded marijuana smoking pipe and a syringe with heroin. He was arrested and
booked for the DV and possession of a controlled substance.
 
B Squad
 
Domestic/3000 blk W 4th Ave-
Female reported that she and her boyfriend are breaking
up and that he took a kitchen knife and left the apartment. She said he did not threaten
her or himself, but she is concerned because he had made threats to hurt himself in the
past. He was contacted at his mother's house and said he was not going to hurt himself
or anyone else. He was given crisis response's number
 
Narcotics/100 blk N Ely- Officer Greenough responded to a disturbance at the
pharmacy. The complainant reported that a male was arguing with the staff and told
other customers they should be dead. He also punched a Christmas tree. He was  3
contacted and detained and was intoxicated and on narcotics. McKinney has mental
health issues as well. Officer Ayala had also just responded to a vehicle prowl across the
street and the male matched the description of the suspect. Witnesses were able to
identify him as the vehicle prowler. Suspect was medically cleared, arrested and booked
for the Vehicle Prowl and trespassed from the store.
 
Narcotics/48th & Olson -Officer Canada responded to a suspicious vehicle occupied
several persons. The reporting party said they could see a lighter flickering. The vehicle
was contacted driving from the area with no headlights on. Officer Canada stopped the
vehicle and could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Three 17
year old males and a 15 year old female were in the vehicle smoking marijuana. JCRs
were completed for all charging Possession of MJ and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All were turned over to parents.
 
Narcotics/4200 blk W 27th Pl- Officer Kiel responded to a suspicious vehicle. When the
vehicle was contacted an odor of marijuana was coming from the interior. The driver of
the vehicle, a 18 year old male admitted to a having a small amount of marijuana in the
vehicle. When asked about giving consent to search he said, "I will not consent to an
unreasonable search". A search warrant was applied for and granted. The marijuana
was located and was booked at the BCSO Jail for Possession of MJ and Possession of
Drug Paraphernalia.
 
Domestic/9100 blk W Arrowhead- Complainant reported that she and her husband had
been drinking and became verbal and she said her husband and she began to grapple.
He held her with his arms and told her she is crazy and he does not want to be with her.
He left prior to police arrival and could not be located. She said she does not feel like
she had been assaulted. Forwarded to the City Attorney's office for review.
 
Noise Compliant/3400 blk W 7th Pl- Complainant reported hearing several loud shots
coming from her neighbor's house. When officers arrived she was hiding in her
residence. Officers were able to determine that the noises were not gun shots but the
neighbor kicking his walls and throwing himself into his walls. He was arrested and
booked for violating the City Noise Ordinance.
 
CAT
 
Malicious Mischief Follow-up/Keewaydin Park-
Officer Meyer requested assistance
with contacting a male in Pasco to interview him about graffiti at Keewaydin Park.
Detectives Dorame and Schwartz located the male and he confessed to spray painting
graffiti at the park. The report was sent to the prosecutor's office for charges.
