Yakima Co. Sheriff's Office Looking for Two Armed Robbery Suspects

WAPATO, WA - The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men wanted for robbing a store at gunpoint in Wapato.

Deputies were dispatched to the Donald Store on Donald-Wapato Road for a robbery. When deputies got to the scene, they were told that two Hispanic men had just entered the store with guns.

Both men were dressed in black and had masks over their faces. The suspects ordered the store owner to the floor, while they cleaned out the cash register.

The suspects then took off and left the store in a red vehicle.

The robbery remains under investigation.

    YAKIMA- A restaurant went up in flames on Saturday after an explosive reaction in the kitchen. Around noon the Yakima Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 5600 block of Tieton Drive. In total, approximately 40 firefighters responded.  Crews were assigned to enter the building to try and locate and extinguish the fire, but they were hampered by the smokey conditions and high heat.     KENNEWICK: You may have seen them while driving around town.....panhandlers...holding up signs asking for money. Now the City of Kennewick is putting up signs of their own,and cracking down on panhandling.
