ARLINGTON, OR - Members of the Church of the Nazarene in Arlington had hoped to be back in their church building by this time of the year. Instead, the congregation is worshipping at the youth center, behind the site of the church building an arsonist torched last month. It was the church's second arson fire of the year. The congregation in the Columbia River town was nearly finished with repairs from the first time, in July, when the second fire broke out, on Nov. 12. It destroyed the building. Pastor David Gossett says he hopes there's forgiveness in the community: He says forgiveness allows people not to carry burdens. He says the church will rebuild but doesn't know how long that will take. Authorities have made no arrests.
