KHQ.COM - Late Friday morning a silver car driving westbound on Indiana had a yellow light while he entered the intersection. The driver of a maroon car was northbound on Hamilton anticipated the light turning green and ended up hitting the silver compact. 

The driver of the maroon car was cited for failure to stop at a steady red light. Traffic was rerouted for a time but is now back open.
 
The driver of the maroon car was transported to Holy Family Hospital with minor injuries.

Kevin Holbrook said Saturday that two officers were hurt in the Friday night confrontation, but neither officer was shot.    Holbrook tells The Times of Gainesville that both officers were treated at a hospital for minor injuries and have been released.
