KHQ.COM - Late Friday morning a silver car driving westbound on Indiana had a yellow light while he entered the intersection. The driver of a maroon car was northbound on Hamilton anticipated the light turning green and ended up hitting the silver compact. 

The driver of the maroon car was cited for failure to stop at a steady red light. Traffic was rerouted for a time but is now back open.
 
The driver of the maroon car was transported to Holy Family Hospital with minor injuries.

    YORK, S.C. (AP) - Four officers have been wounded in a shooting in South Carolina and state police say a suspect was also wounded. State Law Enforcement Division spokesman Thom Berry said York County sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic call near York late Monday. Berry said deputies said the suspect was gone when officers arrived. A York police officer was shot and wounded during the search.

The pope is set to visit with indigenous Mapuches Wednesday in Temuco, the capital of Araucania.
