RICHLAND, WA - The City of Richland is changing things up when it comes to Christmas trees drop off locations.

There are no Christmas tree drop off locations in the City of Richland this year. In past years, there were drop off locations at Badger Mountain Park or George Prout Pool.

Instead, starting on December 30th, crews will begin collecting cut Christmas trees curbside. Christmas trees taller than six feet must be cut in half. All the decorations must be removed from the trees, except for flocking.

This special tree collection will end on January 17th.

You can also drop off Christmas trees and yard debris at the Horn Rapids Landfill, free of charge.
