BENTON CITY, WA - The local wine industry continues to step up its game. On Red Mountain a new tasting room will soon be up and running.

Hamilton cellars broke ground on their new facility Saturday. The tasting room will have great views of the mountain and will be the main hub for the continued production of Hamilton wines. It has been about 6 years in the making for the Hamilton's all culminating in this big step forward.

"We have wanted to be on Red Mountain all along and we were fortunate to be able to find this property almost a year ago and so breaking ground on the tasting room is really really a big deal for us. It's been a long time coming," said Stacie Hamilton who owns the winemaking business with her husband Russ.

The Hamilton's expect their new building on Red Mountain to be completed in the spring.
