C-Shift
 
Burglary/6800 blk W Clearwater Ave-
Employees arrived to find the front door was not
locked. Upon inspecting the business, numerous desk drawers were found disturbed,
and a bank bag was missing. The point of entry was determined to have been a south
facing wall on the roof which led into the attic of the business. No leads or suspects.
 
Burglary/800 blk S Olympia St- Site maintenance found the front door to the location had been
kicked in. The renter had been out of town for about a week, and had recently had problems
with his former roommates and had the locks changed. At the time of the investigation he could
not be contacted and it is not known what if anything is missing. Investigation pending contact
with resident.

Warrant Arrest/200 blk N Underwood- Officers responded for a report of a male sleeping in the
reporting party's shed. On arrival the male was contacted in the shed. A record check revealed
he had a valid arrest warrant. He was arrested and booked without incident.
 
Warrant Arrest/2400 blk W Bruneau- Officers were dispatched to a welfare check on a female who was said to be at the location. On arrival, it was determined that the subject of the welfare check was not present, but the owner had a valid warrant. She was arrested and booked  without incident.
 
Warrant Arrest/400 blk S Dayton St-
Officer Santoy saw a wanted gang member in the area,
and then saw him get on a bus. The valid warrant was confirmed and the bus was stopped in
the area of Carmichael and Vineyard. The male was contacted and arrested without incident.
Search incident to arrest, he was found in possession of a spring loaded knife and marihuana.
He was booked at the BCSO Jail on the warrant of Franklin County for Disorderly Conduct, as
well as the new charges for the weapons offense and marihuana.
 
Theft/400 blk W Entiat Ave- The pawn shop called after a subject arrived trying to sale 4
wheels/tires that they believed to be stolen. The subject was still at the location and detained
when Officers arrived. A female with the first subject was also detained. It was determined that
the property had been reported stolen out of Benton County. They admitted to the theft when
interviewed and was booked for felony theft and JCR forwarded for charging of female for her
involvement. Property returned to the owner and BCSO linked our report.
 
A-Shift
 
Accident FTS & ID/7th Ave & Vancouver St-
Female and family were traveling
southbound on Vancouver near 7th Avenue. A dark colored passenger car, either a
Honda or Acura, was heading eastbound on 7th Ave and failed to stop for the stop sign.
Her vehicle t-boned the suspect vehicle, which then sped off east on 7th Avenue. The
suspect vehicle should have moderate damage to the driver's side. The area was
canvassed; however the damaged vehicle could not be located.
 
Burglary/3500 blk W Hood Ave- Complainant explained that she had left her apartment
secured at 1100 hours this morning. She returned at 1700 hours and found some
prescription pills missing as well as a Christmas card containing cash. She suspects a
friend, whom she gave a key to several months ago, as well as her friend's boyfriend.
Investigation to continue.
 
Field Arrest/2100 blk N Steptoe- 26 year old male arrived this evening to collect his
baby from his ex-girlfriend. She would not let him inside the trailer to collect the child,
so he kicked the door in. He did not enter the residence. She called police, and he
waited out front for Officers to arrive. He was booked for destruction of property and
trespassed from the location.
 
Auto Theft/300 blk W Kennewick Ave-
Complainantreported that his grey colored 1996
Honda Civic (AJS9030) was stolen sometime between 2100 hours this evening and 0045
hours. The vehicle was locked and he has the only keys. The vehicle has been entered
as stolen.
 
Field Arrest/Cleveland St & Canal Dr- Officers responded to the area of Cleveland and
Canal regarding two males arguing in the street. Dispatch updated that the males were
last seen getting into a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
17 year old and his 21 year old brother were contacted. The 17 year old was
cooperative and sober. He stated he was trying to give his very drunk brother a ride
home. The 21 year old was uncooperative and argumentative with police. The 17 year
old was found to have no valid driver's license without ID. He was detained without
incident, as was his brother. First brother was cited and released for NVOL without ID.
The 21 year old was booked for disorderly conduct, after hospital clearance for high
BAC.
 
Auto Theft Recovery/4800 blk S Beech St- The vehicle in this auto theft originally
reported 12/27 was located abandoned in the 4800 blk S Beech St about 5 blocks from
where it was stolen. The vehicle was not damaged; however property had been stolen
from it. The vehicle was processed, but no evidence could be obtained. The owner as
contacted and collected it.
 
DUI/500 blk W Columbia Dr- Officer Reil responded to this location reference a possible
DUI complaint. A male subject was seen stumbling out of his vehicle as this location and
staggering into the store. Officer Reil arrived a few minutes later, just after the male
had returned to his vehicle and started to drive off. A traffic stop was conducted. The
24 year old male driver was found to be extremely intoxicated. He performed SFST's
poorly and was arrested. Officer Banner transported him to jail for the BAC, which was
found to be a .260. He was booked after medical clearance.
 
DUI/1st Ave & Benton St- Officer Banner responded to the parkade regarding a vehicle
that was driving on the sidewalk and almost struck a statue. Officer Banner located the
vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, 28 year old male, was
found to be intoxicated. He refused to perform SFST's. He was arrested for DUI and
transported to Benton County for processing. His BAC was found to be .158.
 
CAT
 
Wanted Person/2300 blk W 1st Ave-
CAT responded to an anonymous report of a
wanted person, at the location. She was contacted and booked into Benton County.
