Kennewick Police Department: Daily Briefing: Sunday, December 29, 2013

C-Shift
 
Auto Theft/2000 blk W 7th-

Complainant reported his work truck was taken from his driveway sometime during the night. He said the truck belongs to Valmont Northwest. It is a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 1 ton dully pickup, bronze in color, WA license #B28322S VIN #1GBJK34633E223295. There are copper leads on one side and tool boxes on the other. The numbers 007 are posted on the tool box. There is a "red cherry picker hoist" on the bed of the truck. No leads or suspects.
 
Auto Theft/700 blk N Center Park Way- Complainant report that sometime during the night his 1997 Dark Green Honda Accord, WA License plate 279XNA. No leads or suspects.
 
Warrant Arrest/900 Blk S Auburn St- CRISIS reported that a subject they were caring for, was being released and had a valid warrant for her arrest. A valid warrant for FTA DUI
was confirmed and she was contacted and arrested and booked at the BCSO Jail without
incident.
 
Auto Theft Attempt/2400 blk S Irving- Complainant reported that sometime during the
night an unknown suspect entered his 1993 green Honda Accord. Nothing was taken
however he did note there was damage to the ignition. It appears as if the subject
might have been attempting to steal the vehicle. No leads.
 
Failure to Supervise/200 blk S Harrison St- Officers responded to assist medics with two highly intoxicated juvenile females. It was determined that two 17 year old females had
been at this residence all day. They had consumed a bottle of tequila. One was
unconscious and was vomiting. The second female was also vomiting. The second female's
mother was home with the girls but did not know they had been drinking. First female
was transported to Trios, where she was later admitted overnight for alcohol poisoning.
Her father was contacted in Seattle and he later drove over to collect her.
 
A-Shift
 
Auto Theft Attempt/7800 blk W Deschutes Ave- Complainant reported that sometime
between 1900 hours last night and 1615 hours today, an unknown suspect entered her
locked vehicle and stole several items. The car stereo, 20 CD's, jumper cables and toys
were taken from the car. It appears that the suspect attempted to steal the car as the
ignition was damaged by a screwdriver and the cover to the ignition lock was broken off.
The area was canvassed, however no witnesses were identified.
 
Warrant Service/400 blk E 9th Pl- Officer Kuehny responded regarding a disturbance in
progress. Both parties in the disturbance were contacted. It was determined to be
verbal only. A 36 year old female was found to have a warrant for her arrest. She was
taken into custody without incident and booked.
 
Auto Theft/8000 blk W Hood Ave- Complainant reported that sometime between 0610
hours and 0815 hours, his silver colored 1997 Honda Accord (436-ZGR) was taken. It
was parked in front of his residence and was locked. No witnesses or suspects have
been identified. Entered as stolen.
