Two People Wanted for Questioning About Saturday's Shooting in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, WA. - CrimeStoppers is looking for two people wanted for questioning in connection with an aggravated assault on Saturday.

Kennewick police tell us Genesis Garza, 28, and Michael Land, 24, may have been at Albany Court the morning of a shooting. Witnesses told officers they saw the two at the shooting. Police say on Sunday morning they were also seen nearby in a white Sedan.

Garza also has a warrant out for her arrest on unrelated charges.

KENNEWICK, WA -  According to Kennewick Police, residents of Albany Court were involved in the shooting. Police have a list of leads they are going through and they tell us that they are close to taking in a suspect. We also know the man who was shot has since been airlifted to Harborview Medical in Seattle.

"Yeah somebody got shot like right here," said Nathanial Anderson who lives in the building where the shooting took place."We have two kids inside. Good thing my nephew wasn't here, he's two. People are always going to do stupid stuff. That's Just how it is, but this kind of went too far."


KENNEWICK, WA - Kennewick police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday around 8:45am on the 6200 block of West Albany Court.

Officers say two males were seen getting out of car and a witness heard shots.

Police say an adult male was transported to Trios Health hospital in Kennewick with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers say the victim is not cooperating with them in the investigation.

Police say they believe this shooting is not gang related.
