Friend Of Post Falls Couple Killed In Crash: 'Ben & Korie Were Kind Hearted Souls'

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho -

UPDATE: Family members have set up an account with Horizon Credit Union for the two children of Benjamin and Korie Mullican. The married couple, from Post Falls, were killed Tuesday in a crash on I-90 near Kellogg. KHQ.COM - Two Post Falls residents died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 in North Idaho.
    
The Idaho State Police says 39-year-old Benjamin Mullican was eastbound on I-90 Tuesday morning when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle on icy roads between Kingston and Cataldo. The SUV crossed through the median and into the westbound lanes, where it was struck by a semitrailer.
    
The collision killed Mullican and his 36-year-old wife, Korie. The two Canadian men in the semi were uninjured.
    
The collision closed the road for 6 hours while troopers cleared the road and investigated the cause of the crash.

    CHICAGO - Research on 202 former football players found evidence of a brain disease in nearly all of them, from athletes in the NFL down to high school. It's the biggest update on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (ehn-sehf-uh-LAH'-puh-thee), or CTE. The disease has been linked to repeated head blows and the results confirm that it can happen even in young players.
