CLEVELAND, WA - The Klickitat County Sheriff's Office is trying to figure out how an argument between neighbors lead to a deadly shooting in Cleveland, Washington.
Deputies say a 79-year-old homeowner, Norman A. Luening, died with a gunshot wound to the head.
Paramedics took his neighbor, 59-year-old Ronald R. Carlsen, to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland in critical condition.
The sheriff says the two men were the only people involved in the shooting, and doesn't believe the community is in danger.
However, deputies say the motive in the shooting and what the two men's argument may have been about, are still unclear.
Deputies say it was a delivery truck driver who arrived at the scene Tuesday morning and called for help.
