PREVIOUS COVERAGE:

TERRACE HEIGHTS, WA-  Crews with Pacific Power are working to restore power in the Terrace Heights area after a driver lost control and hit a power pole around 8:00 Wednesday morning near South 41st Street and Gun Club Road.

Terrace Heights Elementary and Pacific NW University of Health Sciences were closed due to the power outage.

Luckily no one was injured, but firefighters said this is a reminder to give yourself extra time when heading out the door, because visibility is low and the roads are slick.

Pacific Power posted on their website that they hope to have power restored by 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
