Field Arrest/3rd Ave & Elm St- Officer Kuehny stopped male for a traffic violation. A
records check showed that he was DWLS 3rd and had an outstanding warrant. He was
arrested and booked.
Warrant Service/200 blk E 5th Ave- Patrol assisted Detectives with a contact at this
residence regarding the ongoing homicide investigation. A male was contacted and
arrested on two felonies and two misdemeanor warrants.
Warrant Service/5600 blk W Canal Dr- Officer Duty contacted and arrested male on five
outstanding warrants. He was booked.
Burglary Attempt/7800 blk W Deschutes Ave- Officer Todd contacted an apartment
complex employee regarding an attempted burglary of the office. She arrived at work
this morning and found an alarm report on the office door. She reviewed the security
video and observed two males attempting to open the office door with what appeared
to be a credit card. Entry was not gained and there was no damage to the door.
Suspicious Person/1000 blk W 10th Ave- Officer Ball contacted school principal
regarding a suspicious person on school property. He advised that security had
observed a male walking on the property via security cameras. He went outside to
contact the male and located him in an enclosed courtyard within the school. The
suspect gained entry via an unlocked door. He requested the male to leave the property
and the suspect stated "Hail Hitler". The suspect then left the property and was last
seen walking into the parking lot in the 1100 blk W 10th Ave.
Assault DV/5500 blk W Hildebrand- Complainant reported that her boyfriend had just hit her
while she was holding their baby; knocking her and the baby to the ground. While Officers
responded, he left in a vehicle. The vehicle was located and stopped. The investigation
revealed, after having been in an argument over who was going to take care of their child, the complainant threw his pillow in the front room. He entered their bedroom to go to sleep, as he did so, he struck her with the back of his hand as he walked in to the dark room. He was arrested and booked.
DUI/Fruitland & Railroad- Officers contact a male who was in his vehicle passed out
with his marijuana and pipe lying in his lap. Officers advised him to not drive, however
just a few minutes after the contact he drove away. Officers had not fully cleared the
area, and made the traffic stop. He was arrested & booked for DUI. Blood evidence
obtained via blood draw.
Order Violation/1100 blk W 10th Ave- After conducting a traffic stop for several
violations, the driver fled on foot. The investigation led Officers to an apartment where
the owner of the vehicle lives. Contact was made with the female who was not
cooperative at first. Officers eventually learned that the driver, the father of one of her
children had borrowed her vehicle, and had fled to the apartment after having been
stopped because he had warrants. He had left prior to Officer Arrival. Consent to
search was granted and the suspect was not located. Officers also learned there is a
valid order between them. A recorded statement was collected. Case has been
forwarded to the CA for charging.
Assault DV/5600 blk W Metaline- Complainant reported that her husband attempted to
kill her. She stated her husband was very intoxicated and began to argue with her while
they were in the bedroom. She stated he threw her on the bed, grabbed her hair and
began slamming her head on the mattress. She also stated that he grabbed her around
the neck. She had visible signs of having been assaulted and also advised that he
pointed a rifle at her on Sunday and stated he was going to kill her. In response, she
stated that she grabbed the barrel of the rifle, placed it on her forehead and told him to
pull the trigger. Attempts were made to contact and arrest him with no contact made.
She believes he will be at work today as he was recently promoted to manager. Request
Day Shift attempt contact. FollowUp-Suspect was located at his place of work and
booked into jail on a 72 hr hold by Cpl Dronen.
Weapons/1400 blk W 9th-

Officers were dispatched to 1400 blk W 9th to contact a male
who advised dispatch he had been threatened with a firearm and the suspect had also
broken windows out of his vehicle. Upon arrival he advised he and a friend had stopped
at the location and he stayed outside the location to smoke. While outside another male
they know came outside. They have previous history of being verbal with each other
and another verbal argument began. The second male advised the complainant he was
going to get a gun and shoot him. He advised the second male to "go ahead". He went
to his vehicle a newer black mustang and opened the trunk and retrieved something
from the trunk which he then pointed at the first male. He advised he did not actually
see a gun but he observed him holding something in his hand which was pointed at him.
He then began telling the male to shoot him. The home owner advised he did not know
anything about the male with the weapon except his first name and they had been
friends for the past several months. He was at the location visiting and the homeowner  4
did not see any disturbance of any kind and only had heard about it from the
complainant after the fact. As of this time, the identity of the suspect is not known.
The home owner was found to have a valid arrest warrant out of Ellensburg. Officers
Riley and Meiners advised him that he was under arrest and attempted to place him in
handcuffs. As they did, he began pulling away and yelling for his boyfriend. He then fell
to the floor in the doorway and pulled his arms into his sides. As Officer Riley attempted
to gain control of his arms, the suspect bit Officer Riley on the right wrist causing the
skin to break. The suspect was cuffed a short time later with no further incident. He
was not injured as a result of the arrest, and was booked at the BCSO Jail for Assault 3rd,
resisting, Obstructing, and the Warrant. Officer Riley received treatment for the minor
injury at Trios.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle/3200 blk W Clearwater Ave-
Officer Pitts took a report of a
stolen dark green 2000 Honda Accord. The reporting party advised it was parked in
front of his house overnight. He gave no one permission to drive it. Update: CAT
Detectives were conducting extra patrol near Clearwater and Johnson St and observed
this vehicle parked abandoned in the parking lot. The vehicle was returned to the
owner. No suspects have been identified.
