Kennewick Police Arrest Man and Woman for Honda Thefts
KENNEWICK, WA - A man and woman from the Seattle area face multiple charges for car theft after police say they stole Hondas out of Kennewick.
Kennewick Police arrested 34-year-old Tompall R. Lorah-Heggen, and 36-year-old Jessica Amber Myers on Thursday night at the Kennewick Suites.
Police say the two are linked to five Hondas, stolen in Kennewick and Seattle. Officers say they first saw a stolen Honda Accord parked at the hotel and went inside.
Police say they found Lorah-Heggen in a hallway where he tried to run off. Police say they found and arrested Myers inside a room at the hotel. Officers say they searched the room and also found methamphetamine, heroin, stolen mail, and shaved car keys.
"They've been booked right now on four auto thefts here in the Kennewick area, which they're being held on. We've got them linked to five Honda auto thefts at this point. There may be more in the future. We don't know," said Officer Dan Todd, Kennewick Police Department.
Police say Lorah-Heggen and Myers arrived in town two weeks ago.
Officers booked them both into the Benton County Jail on a total of 4 counts of possession of a stolen vehicle.
