SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -

Two people were arrested for Assaulting an Officer and Trespassing after a fight over the custody of a baby Friday night.

Police on scene say the grandmother of the baby showed up to a home in the 5900 block of Garden Springs Rd. and refused multiple requests to leave. The baby's dad then showed up and Sheriff's deputies were called. Once deputies showed up, both the baby's dad and the baby's grandmother began fighting with deputies. Eventually the dad was tazed and the situation was brought under control.

Both the dad and the grandmother were arrested for Assaulting an Officer and Trespassing. No injuries were reported.
