SPOKANE, Wash. -

 

Spokane Police are investigating a pharmacy robbery that happened in north Spokane Friday night. This is the fifth pharmacy robbery in less than two weeks. 

Officers say at about 8:40pm at the Sav-On Pharmacy in the Albertsons on the 6500 block of north Nevada was robbed by two men. The men walked in, approached the pharmacy and demanded pain killers. One of the men jumped over the counter and grabbed prescription drugs, and then they both took off. 

Officers were on scene within two minutes and immediately set up a perimeter. They tried tracking the two men using a K-9 Unit, but were unsuccessful. 

The first suspect is described as white, 5'8" - 5'10". The only description of the second suspect is that he was taller and something was covering his face. 

The two were able to get away with and unknown amount of prescription drugs.
