Are You Missing A Large Piano Part?

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -

On Wednesday, a deputy with the Spokane County Sheriff's Department found a large part of a piano in the country, and now the Sheriff's Office is wondering if it is yours.

A press release issued on Wednesday afternoon said a deputy found a large, internal cast iron portion of a Bennett Company piano was found on a property near Palouse Highway and Stevens Creek Road. The part is approximately 4'X4', weighing 300 pounds and was secured on a pallet. 

Anyone who can prove ownership of the piano part is asked call Detective Dean Meyer at 509-477-3159.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say officers found the body of a teenage boy in the Hangman Valley area early Wednesday morning. Officer Ben Green would not give an exact location where the body was found, but did say family reported the boy missing earlier in the day. Officers would not officially identify the young man, but according to The Spokesman Review, who cited SPD, it appears he committed suicide.
