Mark Rypien Breaks Down This Weekend's Championship Games

Posted:
Super Bowl XXVI MVP, two-time Super Bowl Champion, two-time Pro Bowl selection and Spokane native Mark Rypien joined SWX's Michelle Dapper in the SWX Studio earlier today to break down this weekend's AFC and NFC Championship games.

Rypien threw for 18,473 yards, 115 touchdowns and an overall quarterback rating of 78.9 in his 16-year NFL career. Most recently, Rypien was apart of the Golf Channel's Big Break NFL, which featured ex-professional football players and up-and-coming golfers in a series of challenges.

Rypien's nephew, Brett Rypien, surpassed his uncle's Greater Spokane League passing records this season, in his junior year, as he lead Shadle Park to the WIAA 3A Semi-Finals.
