SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - As the Seattle Seahawks prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers Sunday in the NFC Championship game, fans across the Inland Northwest are also gearing up for the game.

    PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. - A train has derailed over I-5 in Pierce County, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.  So far, there is no word on injuries, but WSDOT reports all southbound lanes of I-5 are blocked near Mounts Road.  This is a developing story.     LONDON - A British air base used by the U.S. Air Force was scouted out in 2015 by an Islamic extremist who eventually received a life sentence for plotting an attack against U.S. military personnel. Junead Khan was tried for using his job as a delivery driver to study RAF Mildenhall, the base in England that was locked down on Monday during a disturbance.

    PORT ORCHARD, Wash. - A man charged in the heroin and meth overdose death of a Washington woman has been sentenced to more than four years in prison. The Kitsap Sun reports 33-year-old Larry Mase Jr. was sentenced to prison Friday after pleading guilty to delivery of a controlled substance in a school zone.
