OSP Investigating Fuel Thefts in Rural Parts of Several Counties

Posted: Updated:

PENDLETON, OR - Have you noticed any diesel missing over the last year and a half? If so, Oregon State Police want to hear from you.

An ongoing investigation shows that someone stole fuel from heavy equipment, farm implements and fixed fuel storage containers that range from 50 gallons to more than 1,000 gallons.

OSP is looking into these in a large part of the state, including Umatilla, Morrow, Wallowa and Gilliam Counties.

If you believe you were targeted or have any other information, you're asked to call OSP at (800) 452-7888 or email Senior Trooper Mike Mayer at MMayer@osp.state.or.us
