BENTON COUNTY, WA - The Benton County Auditor's office is mailing out Special Election ballots on Tuesday, January 21st.
School districts in Richland, Prosser, Kennewick, Grandview, and Finley all have Maintenance and Operation Levies appearing on the February ballot.
Ballots must be returned to the Auditor's Office, left in one of the seven secure dropboxes throughout the county, or postmarked on or before Election Day, February 11th.
If you lose or damage your ballot, you can request a replacement ballot by going to www.bentonelections.com or by visiting any of the three Auditor's Office locations.
Voters can also request a replacement ballot by calling (509) 786-5618 or (509) 736-3085 during regular business hours.
Ballots returned through the U.S. Postal Service require first class postage.
Drop boxes are open as of Thursday, January 23rd, and will remain open 24 hours a day until 8:00 PM on Election Day.
