UPDATE / KENNEWICK, WA - Benton County Sheriff Deputies say they've now arrested two people in connection with a burglary earlier this week. 

Deputies arrested 27-year-old Lane T. Lawson for first degree burglary after searching a home on N. Louisiana Street Wednesday morning.

Deputies say that led them to arrest 28-year-old Travis E. Goodan for first degree burglary, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. 

Deputies say they believe the two men are tied to a burglary where someone went into a home on the 5400 block of Umatilla Avenue Tuesday morning, and stole guns, cash, precious metals, bonds and collector coins. 

Deputies say the recovered most of the stolen property after searching the home on Louisiana Street, along with a local rental storage facility. 

Lawson and Goodan are both in the Benton County Jail.

Deputies arrested a 27 year old man at the home at 522 N. Louisiana Street.

They found cash, a safe and a gun they say was stolen from a house on the 5400 block of West Umatilla Avenue on Tuesday.

Soon after that incident, deputies left to contact a man who may have been involved with the stolen property.
