All Four Suspects Arrested in Yakima County Homicide

HARRAH, WA - NBC Right Now is learning that four people are now in custody in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old man in Harrah Saturday afternoon.

The Yakima County Coroner identified the victim as Charlie Burkybile of Harrah. According to sheriff's deputies on scene, he was the caretaker of the over 400 acre Willows Gun Club.

Sheriff Deputies say four suspects drove up to the residence in a Honda Saturday around 1 o'clock to buy marijuana. A confrontation occurred where Burkybile was shot to death.

The jail roster shows 18-year-old Martin Alvarez of Yakima, 25-year-old Luis Alberto Anguiano of Selah, and 27-year-old Jose Trinidad Davila of Yakima are all in the Yakima County Jail on second degree murder charges. 

One neighbor said this area of Yakima County is remote and they have had trouble with crime in the past.

"Over the past there's been several different robberies and thefts out here," Shane Olney said. "I've been broken into in the middle of the day between 11 and 2 o'clock in the afternoon."

HARRAH, WA - One man is dead and another charged with murder after a shooting on Harrah Road Saturday afternoon. 

Yakima County Sheriff's were called on reports of people shooting at a residence with two adults and two children inside. A 32-year-old man was shot and killed. The other three inside were not hurt.

A Yakama Nation officer saw the suspect vehicle in the area of the shooting and began a car chase. It ended in Wapato and several people ran away from the suspect vehicle. One 27-year-old man from Yakima was caught and booked into the Yakima County Jail for murder.
