CORVALLIS, Oregon (AP) - Deven Hunter scored 16 points and logged 10 rebounds in helping Oregon State get past Washington State 72-57 on Sunday.

Sydney Wiese added 15, while Ruth Hamblin nabbed 12 rebounds and 13 points for OSU (12-8, 4-4 Pac-12). The Beavers cooled slightly in the second period, but ended the game shooting 48 percent, making 23-of-48 attempts.

Oregon State more than doubled Washington State's first half output, going into the break leading 44-21. The Cougars outscored the Beavers 36-28 in the second half, but not enough to put any kind of dent in OSU's advantage.

Washington State (11-9, 5-3), after starting the conference schedule with a 5-0 record, has lost three in a row and fell to fifth place in the league.

Lia Galdeira led WSU scorers with 21 points while the Cougars shot just 34 percent from the field and were out-rebounded 46-31 by the Beavers.
