Action Cam: Hangin' With The Spokane Junior Chiefs Hockey Team!

SPOKANE, Wash. - With the winter Olympics right around the corner, the sport of hockey will be on display globally. Hockey is a big sport in Spokane, and this morning Matt Rogers met up with the Spokane Junior Chiefs Pee-Wee A team. They consist of 11 & 12 year olds that compete against other teams in the northwest and Canada.

The Junior Chiefs have a big tournament at the end of February and are also eager to watch team USA in the olympics. Watch the videos to learn more about the team, the sport, and how one team member got the nickname "Bacon Bits!"

It happened in the Hayden Walmart parking lot on March 31, at about 3 p.m. The suspect was attempting to park when he sideswiped another parked car. The driver then moved to a different space in the parking lot and went about his day without attempting to contact the owner of the vehicle he hit.

Police say a man used two counterfeit $100 bills to purchase items at two different registers at Safeway. Shortly after that, a woman used another counterfeit $100 bill to purchase items at Rite Aid.
