Former Sunnyside City Manager Pleads Guilty to Felony Charge

The former City Manager of Sunnyside pleaded guilty to felony charges Monday. The former City Manager of Sunnyside pleaded guilty to felony charges Monday.

YAKIMA, WA - The former City Manager of Sunnyside pleaded guilty to felony charges Monday. 

Frank Sweet pleaded guilty to one count of injury to public records stemming from his time as Selah's City Administrator. 

Sweet will not face jail time because he agreed to a plea deal but with a felony on his record, he will not be able to hold public office again. 

Sweet will have to pay restitution to the City of Selah at an amount determined at a later date.
