Single-Lane Closure on Eastbound I-82 in Yakima

YAKIMA, WA - Construction crews are working to repair part of a bridge damaged by a collision involving a semi truck in early January.   

Drivers can expect minor backups and delays on eastbound I-82 and eastbound U.S. 12 in Yakima starting Wednesday, January 29th. During daylight hours only, the right lane on I-82 eastbound in Yakima will close where U.S. 12 and eastbound I-82 merge near North First Street.

Crews are working Monday through Thursdays and hope to complete the work by February 13. This work is weather dependent, crews will direct traffic through the work zone with signs, orange cones and barrels.
