Friday: Slow moving band of snow showers is finally south of Spokane and continuing to move south today. That means the Palouse and Central/Southern Panhandle will continue to see snow showers today, while other areas see gradual clearing skies! Mostly sunny for our northern counties by this afternoon, partly cloudy around Spokane. High: 30° (Green)

Friday Night: Clearing will continue to move south overnight tonight, that'll help bring all snow showers to the end. It will also mean colder morning temperatures with lows into the teens! Low: 18° (Green)

Saturday: Some patchy fog Saturday morning but with the drier air dropping into the region, once the fog clears, expect mostly sunny skies! It'll be sunny, but cool. High: 26° (Green)

Look Ahead: The arctic air that's been affecting the majority of the country will finally take its toll on the INW. By the middle/end of next week our high temperatures will have trouble making it out of the 20s and overnight lows will drop to single digits! Start preparing NOW!

Navy veteran Allison Hines of Covington, Kentucky, plays the game daily. Every day she checks in at a Pokestop -- a real-world location used to get supplies for the game -- at a nearby park.
