Jay Inslee will travel to Switzerland this week to participate in the World Economic Forum's Annual meeting.    Inslee's office said Monday that the governor is scheduled to speak on several panels at the meeting in Davos, including a climate change one hosted by former Vice President Al Gore.

    CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) - An Idaho inmate claims authorities illegally prevented him from posting bond because of his citizenship status.    The Idaho Statesman reports Senobio Padilla-Arredondo, in a lawsuit filed Friday, says he was arrested on Jan. 22, 2016, charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence, and his bond was set at $1,250.

    Congress has approved a bipartisan agreement to re-open the federal government after a three-day partial shutdown.    The House approved the bill, 266-150, hours after the Senate backed it, 81-18. President Donald Trump is expected to quickly sign the measure to fund government operations through Feb. 8.
