KENNEWICK, WA - A Tri-Cities business has decked out Thompson Hill in Kennewick in lights Wednesday - in the shape of a 12, for the 12th man of course!
Sash Wedding Rentals and Decor in Richland was behind the lighted 12. They tell NBC Right Now they did it to "bring joy to south Kennewick."
It took organizers six hours to put it together. They had to scale the hill and clear sagebrush before putting up the lights.
But for them - it was all worth it.
"My sister and I were organizing lights in the living room, getting everything prepped, and I had goosebumps! To be able to do something this big and something that everyone can see and it's, you know, just going to bring a smile to their face. It's great, it feels great. We're all in! We're going big," Michelle Young explained to us.
Blue and green lights cover the house on the hill. In total 5,600 lights were used!
