FUGITIVE FRIDAY: CAPTURED: Mark Short

SPOKANE, Wash. - KHQ is featuring a new segment called Fugitive Friday in partnership with local law enforcement and Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest. The collaboration is an effort to get criminals locked up. Every Friday, KHQ will feature a wanted fugitive and offer viewers a chance to give tips that could lead to their arrest.

This week, Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest hopes the public will have the missing piece of information that could lead to the arrest of Mark Short. He’s wanted by the law on two felony warrants for burglary. He has a criminal history dates back to 19-89 and he's been convicted of three felonies, including harassment and the threat to kill.

Short is 43. He’s described 6 feet, 175 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. If you know where Short is hiding call 1-800-222-TIPS.     LANSING, Mich. (AP) - A sentencing hearing for a former sports doctor who sexually assaulted young gymnasts may be nearing the end.    Larry Nassar is due back in a Lansing, Michigan, courtroom Tuesday. More than 120 girls and women, including former Olympic gold medalists, have confronted him or had statements read on their behalf over five emotional days of sentencing.
