Rare Gun Collection Featured at Pasco Gun Show This Weekend at TRAC

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA - There is a rare collection of door alarms and animal trap guns on display at the Pasco Gun Show, this weekend at the TRAC.

The collection dates back to the mid-19th century and features more than 60 different guns.

The owner of the set said the animal trap guns were used for animal control, before being banned in the 1930s; the door alarm guns served as burglar alarms for early home owners.

"They were only made for a very short period of time in our history," said Brian Kjensmo, the owner of the collection. "Plus, there was so few of them made in such a short period of time that they were just lost. I mean, a lot of people in the later years didn't know what they were, so they were thrown away," he continued.

You can see Brian's collection and other guns and gadgets Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and free for children under 12, veterans and law enforcement.
