*Wind Chill Warning for NE WA, the ID Panhandle & Extreme W MT (Clark Fork) extended until 10am Thursday; dangerous wind chill temperatures down to –30°

Thursday: Another VERY cold start to the day. Actual temperatures are colder than yesterday, but wind chill (for the most part) isn't QUITE as cold but still between -10 to -20° around Spokane. Mostly sunny to start, clouds increasing late afternoon/evening. High: 13° (Red for Temps)

Thursday Night: Some moisture that's been in Central Oregon will start to lift to the NNE tonight. That'll bring the chance for some light snow showers late Thursday/early Friday. Expecting an inch or less in Spokane. Camas Prairie & Blue Mtns could get 1-3" and the LC Valley 1-2". Low: 4° (Yellow)

Friday: Models showing snow showers will continue to be possible through much of the morning...eventually weakening and moving NE by late morning/early afternoon. Mostly cloudy after that. High: 18° (Yellow)

    KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) - Officials in the central Idaho town of Ketchum have approved doing an inventory of homes within avalanche zones not engineered to withstand avalanches and discussing the appropriate restrictions as rentals. The Idaho Mountain Express reports that the Ketchum City Council on Monday approved the inventory work by city workers.

(AP) - A Beaverton cosmetic surgeon previously released from jail on his own recognizance on suspicion of sexually assaulting two patients has been arrested again after being indicted for the alleged abuse of six more women under his care. The Oregonian/OregonLive reports 49-year-old George Allen of Camas, Washington was arrested Thursday.

    VANTAGE, Wash. (AP) - Evacuation notices have been lifted for residents in about 30 homes as a wildfire burning in central Washington reaches 50 percent containment. The Yakima Herald-Republic reports fire crews were hoping to fully contain the fire near Vantage and the Columbia River by Saturday night.
