SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Union Gospel Mission Motors takes donated vehicles, rebuilds them and then resells them to support their many ministries that help the homeless in our community.

All of their mechanics are ASE Certified and because UGM doesn't have to purchase their vehicles, they are able to put a lot more money into their used cars than the typical used car lot.

Whether you would like to donate your vehicle to support their mission or are looking to purchase a great car at an affordable price, UGM Motors has you covered.

ABOUT UGM MOTORS:

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Union Gospel Mission Motors is located on "Auto Row" at 7219 E. Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley and it isn't your ordinary car dealership. UGM Motors takes donated vehicles, many of which don't even run, and repair the cars back to working condition before selling them for a really affordable price.

Because the used cars are donated to UGM Motors, the non-profit organization is able to put more money into repairing the vehicles than most used car lots. This allows them to sell the used cars in a more reliable condition. Not only is UGM Motors providing the community with affordable, reliable, used cars, they are also getting people back on their feet, many of whom have turned their lives around after recovering from addiction.

Through their job training program, UGM Motors is providing employment and skilled training to many people who have found themselves in a desperate situation or are going through hard times.

    YAKIMA, Wash. - A city in central Washington state issued an emergency proclamation in response to a mass of rock and soil crawling down a ridge that officials say could turn into a landslide. The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the Yakima City Council on Tuesday approved a resolution for city officials to request state or federal assistance should the city require help in responding to the effects of about 4 million cubic yards.
