SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Union Gospel Mission Motors takes donated vehicles, rebuilds them and then resells them to support their many ministries that help the homeless in our community.

All of their mechanics are ASE Certified and because UGM doesn't have to purchase their vehicles, they are able to put a lot more money into their used cars than the typical used car lot.

Whether you would like to donate your vehicle to support their mission or are looking to purchase a great car at an affordable price, UGM Motors has you covered.

HOURS: Monday - Saturday from 9am - 6pm

LOCATION:  7219 E. Sprague in Spokane Valley

ABOUT UGM MOTORS:

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Union Gospel Mission Motors is located on "Auto Row" at 7219 E. Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley and it isn't your ordinary car dealership. UGM Motors takes donated vehicles, many of which don't even run, and repair the cars back to working condition before selling them for a really affordable price.

Because the used cars are donated to UGM Motors, the non-profit organization is able to put more money into repairing the vehicles than most used car lots. This allows them to sell the used cars in a more reliable condition. Not only is UGM Motors providing the community with affordable, reliable, used cars, they are also getting people back on their feet, many of whom have turned their lives around after recovering from addiction.

Through their job training program, UGM Motors is providing employment and skilled training to many people who have found themselves in a desperate situation or are going through hard times.

Check out the videos to learn more about UGM Motors, their mission, and the people that work there and if you're in the market for a great used car that is reliable, perhaps consider checking out UGM Motors before looking elsewhere.

UGM Motors is also a great place to donate your used car and they give donors a tax credit, not for what the car is worth when it's donated but for what it sells for after it has been repaired.

How will pets react to solar eclipse?

    Wednesday, August 16 2017 10:36 PM EDT2017-08-17 02:36:36 GMT

SPOKANE, Wash. - As many of us look forward to next week's eclipse, it could bring some unexpected reactions from certain furry members of your family. The thing is, there's not a lot of research about how pets or even wild animals react to solar eclipses, simply because they don't happen that often. Unlike fireworks, the eclipse won't make noise, so your pets probably won't be scared of it, but every animal is different.
