    PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a spear fisherman was badly injured in a shark attack in California.    State fire Capt. Josh Silveira says the man and his father were several hundred yards offshore Friday at Pebble Beach when the son was bitten in the right thigh.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.- Thursday was a rough Thanksgiving for veterans at the VFW post in Spokane Valley after they had an unexpected guest. Whoever came in, ransacked the place and it was all caught on camera. The criminal busted through one of the doors, leaving behind visible damage. The suspect stole an ATM and bottles of booze.

    NEWMAN LAKE, Wash. - UPDATE: Detectives have charged 29-year-old Nicholas L. Holden with second degree murder Friday evening. After concluding interviews, detectives booked Holden into Spokane County Jail. They will continue to process evidence and conduct interviews as the investigation continues.
