YAKIMA, WA - Prosecutors say four teenage boys will be tried as adults for abducting a 15-year-old girl in Yakima.

The four teenage boys, all 16 or 17 years old, now face charges for kidnapping.

Yakima Police say on January 27th, the boys wore masks and used a gun to force the girl into the trunk of a car as she was walking to school. Officers say she had her phone with her and called 911 from the trunk.

The Washington State Patrol stopped the car on Highway 410 near Bumping Lake a short time later.

Prosecutors say the boy driving the car, 17-year-old Eduardo Diaz, is the girl's ex-boyfriend.

All four boys are in the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Facility on $250,000 bonds.
