Yakima Police Arrest Man for Threatening to Kill His Girlfriend

YAKIMA, WA - Yakima Police say a man is in the Yakima County Jail for threatening to kill his girlfriend and her daughter at their home. 

Police say Friday morning, a 32-year-old woman called 911 from the 1800 block of Plath and said her boyfriend was threatening to shoot her and her 13-year-old daughter if they tried to leave the home. 

Officers say when they arrived, the Yakima Police Communications Center talked to the woman and her daughter, and they were able to leave the home. Police say once they left, the 31-year-old man also came outside, where officers arrested him on felony harassment charges.

Officers say the neither woman nor her daughter got hurt. The suspect was booked into the Yakima County Jail for Felony Harassment-Domestic Violence for threatening to kill his girlfriend.
