    GRANT COUNTY, Wash. - The Grant County Sheriff's Office say that the raid of a home east of Moses Lake on Monday netted over $100,000 in stolen goods, and put four people behind bars. Following up on leads in an investigation into property thefts from National Frozen Foods on January 20th, the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team served a search warrant at 4562 Road N-Northeast.More >>

Back on January 27th, 2014, the Grant County Sheriff's Office raided a home in rural Quincy and found thousands of dollars worth of stolen property. They have found the owners for some of the stuff, but there are items that have yet to be claimed. You can view those items in our slideshow. 

If you recognize any of the property as yours and wish to claim it, you must be able to provide an acceptable form of ownership proof. Acceptable forms of proof include:

1. A report from a law enforcement agency listing the property as stolen, and/or

2. Identification of property through serial number, and/or

3. Identification of property through identifying marks or engravings on the item(s).

To claim the property, you can call the Sheriff's Evidence Specialist at 509-754-2011 ext. 468, then press "0". You can do this Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    MONROE, La. - Police in Louisiana say a woman came home to discover a naked stranger in her tub, eating her Cheetos while taking a bath. A Monroe police affidavit says 29-year-old Evelyn Washington was arrested on burglary and property damage charges. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that a responding officer found "a full tub of water and a plate of food along with half eaten Cheetos belonging to the victim on the toilet next to the tub."

The Grand Rapids Press reports Jay and Kateri Schwandt's latest addition was born Wednesday evening, five days before the baby's expected due date. WOOD-TV reports the boy weighs 8 pounds, 4 ounces and is 21 inches long.
