SOUTH HILL MURDER: Associate Of Man Shot In Home Pleads Not Guilty

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man and former business associate of a Washington state man killed in an alleged murder-for-hire scheme has pleaded not guilty to weapons charges.
   
Thirty-four-year-old James Henrikson, of Watford City, is charged with seven counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He appeared in federal court Monday. U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Miller scheduled trial for April 1.
   
Court documents show Henrikson had business dealings in the North Dakota oil patch with Doug Carlile, who was killed Dec. 15 at his Spokane, Wash., home.
   
Fifty-year-old Timothy Suckow, of Spokane, is charged with Carlile's murder.
   
Documents indicate Henrikson also is under investigation for allegedly defrauding a company owned by Three Affiliated Tribes Chairman Tex Hall.
   
A federal public defender was not immediately available for comment.

    STONEHAM, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts family is giving thanks to two police officers who helped deliver their newest addition on Thanksgiving Day.    MassLive.com reports that two officers were called to a Stoneham home around 11 p.m. Thursday to help a woman in labor. Stoneham police say that when Officers Christopher Murphy and Michael Colotti realized the woman wasn't going to make it to the hospital, they helped her onto her back and delivered a healthy baby boy.
