Gonzaga Women Hold #20 Spot in AP Poll

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga University women's basketball team stood firm at No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll that was released Monday.

The Bulldogs received 41 extra points in this week's poll for a total of 235.

In their No. 20 spot, the Zags are behind LSU (No. 19; 274 points) and ahead of the University of Nebraska (No. 21; 202 points).

The University of Connecticut continues to lead the poll with all 36 first-place votes and 900 points total. The University of Notre Dame and Duke University round out the top three.

Gonzaga improved its record to 22-3 overall and 12-1 in the West Coast Conference with two wins this past week. The Bulldogs defeated Pepperdine University 86-51 and defeated Loyola Marymount University 88-51.
