UPDATE/KENNEWICK, WA - Benton PUD says power should be restored around 10 o'clock Wednesday morning after an outage near Jump Off Joe.
The PUD says about 100 people lost power when a power line fell into a wood pile on Game Farm Road and caused a fire. The outage also included our transmission tower, which is why the NBC signal went down.
Engineers say the signal should come back on when the power does.
KENNEWICK, WA - If you're having trouble receiving our signal Wednesday morning, it's most likely because of a down power line near one of our transmitters.
Benton PUD says a power line fell along Game Farm Road near Jump Off Joe, (where the transmitter tower is) which caused a power outage in the area.
Engineers we spoke with say it could be a few hours before our signal starts broadcasting again, depending on when Benton PUD can restore the power.
The PUD says crews are on scene working to get the power back on.
