Spokane Boxer Chauncy Welliver To Fight In New Zealand For WBC Asia Title

Spokane native Chauncy Welliver will look to beat Billy Wright in their WBC Asia Boxing Council title bout in New Plymouth, New Zealand on Friday. Spokane native Chauncy Welliver will look to beat Billy Wright in their WBC Asia Boxing Council title bout in New Plymouth, New Zealand on Friday.
Spokane native Chauncy Welliver has found a home in Auckland, New Zealand. On Friday Welliver will fight fellow heavyweight Billy Wright in New Plymouth, New Zealand for the World Boxing Council's Asia Boxing Council title.

Welliver is 55-7-5 (Win-Loss-Draw) in his career with a few of his early wins coming at local Northern Quest Resort and Casino before he made Auckland his boxing home. Welliver has held the WBC Asia Pacific and Continental Americas heavyweight title's in his career and fought for the WBC International heavyweight title, but lost to Odlanier Solis
