PASCO, WA-- The League of Women Voters of Benton and Franklin Counties held community forums Saturday to educate people about affordable health care.
The forum included information about how to sign up for health care, where to get assistance and the basics of health care reform.
Local groups helping people sign up for affordable health care say many people are signing up in the area, but they want to be informed about their insurance options.
"I encounter people everyday who have questions and interest and they want to get signed up but they want to find out more information," Wes Luckey, Health Benefit Exchange expert.
Open enrollment goes until March 31st.
If you don't sign up before then and have no health coverage, you could have a penalty on your income tax return.
