MOSES LAKE, WA - Grant County Sheriff Deputies say they're looking for the person who shot and killed a teenage boy on Sunday.

Deputies say they found the body of 16-year-old Brandon Michael Mende of Moses Lake Sunday morning, at a home on the 6000 block of Turnkey Road Northeast in the Larson Housing Area just outside Moses Lake.

Deputies believe the teenager was the intended target.

Investigators say Mende was also injured in another shooting last month in the same area.

Deputies say someone driving a white Kia shot Mende twice while he was riding his bike along the 1200 block of Arlington Drive.

Paramedics took him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Deputies say they believe Mende was also the intended target that time.
